Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What do you consider your “initial meeting” and is it required?
The initial meeting will take place somewhere local, say a coffee shop or restaurant. While I do not require initial meetings, I strongly recommend them. Most importantly, we will get to meet each other before your session. We will go over everything about your shoot. Location ideas, wardrobe ideas, posing tips and more. It will also give us a chance to go over any and all paperwork.
Q. When is my Retainer Fee due?
First, we will schedule our initial meeting (see above). If you are unable to meet in person we can cover everything via email and/or phone. To book your session, we must both agree on a date and time, you are then required to make your Retainer Fee payment.
Q. What is a Retainer Fee?
Sometimes also referred to as a “Booking Fee”, it refers to an agreed sum of money paid to secure the services of a professional for an agreed upon time-frame.
Q. When is my session payment due?
Your session payment is due at least 24 hrs before your shoot. After you have covered your Retainer Fee, you are clear to make your final session payment.
Any balance due must be payed before we shoot.
Q. Does the Retainer Fee go toward my sessions total cost?
No. The retainer fee is not included in the price of your session. It is separate.
Q. What happens to my Retainer Fee if I need to re-schedule?
In the event that you must re-schedule I require notice at least 24 hours before your shoot. Failure to re-schedule will end our agreement and your session will be canceled. Retainers are non-refundable.
